A winding path down into the quarry(ne and w)
You are about a third of the way down into the pit. Falling from here, a plunge of six or seven men's height, would probably kill you. Your view is limited to the trail as it winds along the walls of the pit and the water-covered floor of the quarry below. The rock wall beside you is not smooth; it is, in fact, so rough that it could hide small scavenger animals easily. The path curves to the west as it winds its way down, and to the northeast heading back up.
The only obvious exits are northeast and west.
