A very dark tunnel(e)<br>

You stand in a large cavern. Many stalactites hang from the ceiling and many stalagmites have formed from the floor up. There is a large stagnant pool of water that reeks of slime and things you don't want to try to identify by smell or touch. As you search around the area, from the corner of your eye you notice a slight movement in the pool of water. You begin to think that you are not alone in this deserted cavern.  While looking around the pool, you notice that there are a few patches of ground where the earth has become wet, and muddy, almost like clay.<br>
The only obvious exit is east.<br>
