Town square(s, w, n and e)

You stand on the convergence of several streets, all of which were probably once busy centers of commerce. Now, nothing more than the occasional insect scuttles across the street. In the center of the crossing stands a joyful fountain. The cool water bubbles out of the top, and gurgles happily down several tiers before splashing into the basin. It lightens your spirit just looking at it.
The only obvious exits are south, west, north and east.
