A jail cell(w)
This cell is spartan, but clean. Plain stone walls, floor and a high ceiling are monotonous grey. Even the "bed" is nothing more than a stone shelf rising about a hand's width above the floor. You do not imagine sleeping on that stone--with no blanket, not even hay to cover you--would be at all comfortable. Only three items in the room provide any visual relief from the grey sameness: a large oil lamp, hanging by a chain from the ceiling so it is just beyond your reach; the solid door, with a slit window in it to allow one to look through it even when closed; and a sump in one corner, obviously meant for prisoners' use when they must relieve themselves.
The west door is bashed open.
The only obvious exit is west.
