A side street(n and w)<br>

The street turns abruptly here, leading off to the west and north.  The city wall follows the street's direction change, making a sharp corner then continuing as high and strong as before.  The road is made of cobblestones that show wear from centuries of traffic.  It grows darker here as the city wall casts a shadow over much of the alley.<br>
The only obvious exits are north and west.<br>
