Aboard a ship at the bow(e and d)<br>

An ocean breeze whips up all around causing the sails to flap and the ship to bounce disturbingly. You are at the bow out front of the ship. Just ahead you can see the prow, jutting out like a stiletto. On the deck of the ship is a trapdoor.<br>
The down door is locked.<br>
The only obvious exits are east and down.<br>
